In queue_req(), use time_after_eq() instead of time_after()
for following reasons :
- Improves insert time if multiple entries with same time are
present.
- set_timeout need not be called if entry with same time
is added to the list (and that happens to be the entry
with the smallest time), saving atomic/locking operations.
- Earlier entries with same time are deleted first (fifo).

IPoIB assumes that high (reserved) octet in the hardware address is 0,
and copies it into the QPN. This violates RFC 4391 (which requires
that the high 8 bits are ignored on receive), and will result in an
invalid QPN being used when interoperating with IPoIB connected mode.

When ib_cancel_mad() is called, it puts the canceled send on a list
and schedules a "flushed" callback from process context. However,
this leaves a window where a receive completion could be processed
before the send is fully flushed.
This is fine, except that ib_find_send_mad() will find the MAD and
return it to the receive processing, which results in the sender
getting both a successful receive and a "flushed" send completion for
the same request. Understandably, this confuses the sender, which is
expecting only one of these two callbacks, and leads to grief such as
a use-after-free in IPoIB.
Fix this by changing ib_find_send_mad() to return a send struct only
if the status is still successful (and not "flushed"). The search of
the send_list already had this check, so this patch just adds the same
check to the search of the wait_list.

Change ehca's Kconfig to activates scaling code as default. After
several measurements we saw that this feature prevents dropped packets
(UD) in stress situation. Thus, enabling it helps to improve ehca's
bandwidth through IPoIB.

Assure 4K alignment for firmware control blocks in 64K page mode,
because kzalloc()'s result address might not be 4K aligned if 64K
pages are enabled. Thus, we introduce wrappers called
ehca_{alloc,free}_fw_ctrlblock(), which use a slab cache for objects
with 4K length and 4K alignment in order to alloc/free firmware
control blocks in 64K page mode. In 4K page mode those wrappers just
are defines of get_zeroed_page() and free_page().

Several fields in an incoming MAD extended info header were passed
into the MAD_IFC firmware command at incorrect offsets (mostly off by
4 bytes). As the result, the HCA will fail to generate traps in which
this info is needed (e.g. traps which include the GRH of the incoming
packet), in violation of the IB spec.

We discovered a problem when running IPoIB applications on multiple
CPUs on an Altix system. Many messages such as:
ib_mthca 0002:01:00.0: SQ 000014 full (19941644 head, 19941707 tail, 64 max, 0 nreq)
appear in syslog, and the driver wedges up.
Apparently this is because writes to the doorbells from different CPUs
reach the device out of order. The following patch adds mmiowb() calls
after doorbell rings to ensure the doorbell writes are ordered.

Don't attempt to set up the diagpkt device in the module init code.
Instead, wait until a piece of hardware is initialized. Fixes a
problem when loading the ib_ipath module when no InfiniPath hardware
is present: modprobe would go into the D state and stay there.

Since pr_debug() has changed from a macro to an inline function when
DEBUG is not defined, its arguments now need to be defined even when
debugging is off. Therefore to_event_str() and to_qp_state_str() need
to be moved out of #ifdef DEBUG. The compiler will throw the
definitions away if DEBUG is not defined, but it needs to be able to
see that the functions exist.

Currently a DREP is only sent in response to a DREQ if a connection
has been found matching the DREQ, and it is in the proper state. Once
a DREP is sent, the local connection moves into timewait. Duplicate
DREQs received while in this state result in re-sending the DREP.
However, it's likely that the local connection will enter and exit
timewait before the remote side times out a lost DREP and resends a DREQ.
To handle this, we send a DREP in response to a DREQ, even if a local
connection is not found. This avoids maintaining disconnected
id's in timewait states for excessively long times, just to handle a
lost DREP.

If the ib_cm module is unloaded while id's are still in timewait, the
CM will destroy the work queue used to process timewait. Once the
id's exit timewait, their timers will fire, leading to a crash trying
to access the destroyed work queue.
We need to track id's that are in timewait, and cancel their deferred
work on module unload.

Enable multiple concurrent connections to the same SRP target:
1) Use port GUID instead of node GUID in the initiator port
identifier. This allows connections to be made from multiple HCA
ports at the same time.
2) Let the user specify the identifier extention when adding the
device. This allows userspace to make multiple connections even
from the same port, if it wants too.
Without this, only one connection can be made from any given HCA, even
if it has multiple ports, because we don't use multi-channel mode, so
targets will only allow one connection from a given initiator port ID.

scsi_host_alloc() already allocates with kzalloc(), so the struct Scsi_Host
is zeroed out, including the private data portion. Remove the redundant

code that would sleep if the WR post FIFO was full. Since these
functions can be called on interrupt level I changed the sleep to a
udelay.

Maintain a per-CPU global "struct pt_regs *" variable which can be used instead
of passing regs around manually through all ~1800 interrupt handlers in the
Linux kernel.
The regs pointer is used in few places, but it potentially costs both stack
space and code to pass it around. On the FRV arch, removing the regs parameter
from all the genirq function results in a 20% speed up of the IRQ exit path
(ie: from leaving timer_interrupt() to leaving do_IRQ()).
Where appropriate, an arch may override the generic storage facility and do
something different with the variable. On FRV, for instance, the address is
maintained in GR28 at all times inside the kernel as part of general exception
handling.
Having looked over the code, it appears that the parameter may be handed down
through up to twenty or so layers of functions. Consider a USB character
device attached to a USB hub, attached to a USB controller that posts its
interrupts through a cascaded auxiliary interrupt controller. A character
device driver may want to pass regs to the sysrq handler through the input
layer which adds another few layers of parameter passing.
I've build this code with allyesconfig for x86_64 and i386. I've runtested the
main part of the code on FRV and i386, though I can't test most of the drivers.
I've also done partial conversion for powerpc and MIPS - these at least compile
with minimal configurations.
This will affect all archs. Mostly the changes should be relatively easy.
Take do_IRQ(), store the regs pointer at the beginning, saving the old one:
struct pt_regs *old_regs = set_irq_regs(regs);
And put the old one back at the end:
set_irq_regs(old_regs);
Don't pass regs through to generic_handle_irq() or __do_IRQ().
In timer_interrupt(), this sort of change will be necessary:
- update_process_times(user_mode(regs));
- profile_tick(CPU_PROFILING, regs);
+ update_process_times(user_mode(get_irq_regs()));
+ profile_tick(CPU_PROFILING);
I'd like to move update_process_times()'s use of get_irq_regs() into itself,
except that i386, alone of the archs, uses something other than user_mode().
Some notes on the interrupt handling in the drivers:
(*) input_dev() is now gone entirely. The regs pointer is no longer stored in
the input_dev struct.
(*) finish_unlinks() in drivers/usb/host/ohci-q.c needs checking. It does
something different depending on whether it's been supplied with a regs
pointer or not.
(*) Various IRQ handler function pointers have been moved to type
irq_handler_t.

be registered until it is completely read to be used. This fixes

The race is as follows:
A process : cma_process_remove() calls cma_remove_id_dev(),
which sets id state to CMA_DEVICE_REMOVAL and
calls wait_event(dev_remove).
B process : cma_req_handler() had incremented dev_remove,
and calls cma_acquire_ib_dev() and on failure
calls cma_release_remove(), which does a
wake_up of cma_process_remove(). Then
cma_req_handler() calls rdma_destroy_id();
A Process : cma_remove_id_dev() gets woken and checks the
state of id, and since it is still (wrongly)
CMA_DEVICE_REMOVAL, it calls notify_user(id)
and if that fails, the caller - cma_process_remove()
calls rdma_destroy_id(id). Two processes can
call rdma_destroy_id(), resulting in one
de-referencing kfreed id_priv.
Fix is for process B to set CMA_DESTROYING in cma_req_handler()
so that process A will return instead of doing a rdma_destroy_id().

In some places, particularly drivers and __init code, the init utsns is the
appropriate one to use. This patch replaces those with a the init_utsname
helper.
Changes: Removed several uses of init_utsname(). Hope I picked all the
right ones in net/ipv4/ipconfig.c. These are now changed to
utsname() (the per-process namespace utsname) in the previous

This change moves around port assignment so that it happens before any
memory is allocated. This allows memory to be allocated on an appropriate

The EEPROM is read via programmable I/O pins. When the driver
is compiled -Os, the CPU can speculatively read the I/O
value before it is valid. This patch fixes the problem.

We can sometimes trigger parity errors due to processor speculative
reads to our write-combined memory (mostly seen on Woodcrest). Add a
stats counter for these.
Factored out the sendbuffererror buffer cancellation code so it can be
used in the new handling; suppress likely subsequent error messages if
within two jiffies of the cancellation.
Also restore 2 dropped TXE lines on hwe_bitsextant noticed while
debugging.

iSER uses the DMA mapping api to map the page holding the
SCSI command data to the HCA DMA address space. When the
command data is not aligned for RDMA, the data is copied
to/from an allocated buffer which in turn is used for
executing this command. The pages associated with the
command must be unmapped before being touched.

iSER uses a data transaction object (struct iser_dto) as part
of its IB data descriptors (struct iser_desc) management.
It also uses a hierarchy of connection structures pointing to
each other. A DTO may exist even after the iscsi_iser connection
pointed by it is destroyed (eg one that is bound to a post
receive buffer which was flushed by the IB HW). Hence DTOs need
point to the lowest connection, which is struct iser_conn.

This eliminates the i_blksize field from struct inode. Filesystems that want
to provide a per-inode st_blksize can do so by providing their own getattr
routine instead of using the generic_fillattr() function.
Note that some filesystems were providing pretty much random (and incorrect)
values for i_blksize.

The following patches reduce the size of the VFS inode structure by 28 bytes
on a UP x86. (It would be more on an x86_64 system). This is a 10% reduction
in the inode size on a UP kernel that is configured in a production mode
(i.e., with no spinlock or other debugging functions enabled; if you want to
save memory taken up by in-core inodes, the first thing you should do is
disable the debugging options; they are responsible for a huge amount of bloat
in the VFS inode structure).
This patch:
The filesystem or device-specific pointer in the inode is inside a union,
which is pretty pointless given that all 30+ users of this field have been
using the void pointer. Get rid of the union and rename it to i_private, with
a comment to explain who is allowed to use the void pointer. This is just a
cleanup, but it allows us to reuse the union 'u' for something something where
the union will actually be used.

0x08 is the HT capability, while PCI_CAP_ID_HT_IRQCONF would be
the subtype 0x80 that mpic_scan_ht_pic() uses.
Rename PCI_CAP_ID_HT_IRQCONF into PCI_CAP_ID_HT.
And by the way, use it in the ipath driver instead of defining its
own HT_CAPABILITY_ID.

When ipoib_ib_dev_flush() is called because of a port event, the
driver needs to rejoin all multicast groups, since the flush will call
ipoib_mcast_dev_flush() (via ipoib_ib_dev_down()). Otherwise no
(non-broadcast) multicast groups will be rejoined until the networking
core calls ->set_multicast_list again, and so multicast reception will
be broken for potentially a long time.

RFC 4391 ("Transmission of IP over InfiniBand (IPoIB)") says:
If the IB multicast group does not already exist, one must be
created first with the IPoIB link MTU. The MGID MUST use the same
P_Key, Q_Key, SL, MTU, and HopLimit as those used in the
broadcast-GID. The rest of attributes SHOULD follow the values used
in the broadcast-GID as well.
However, the current IPoIB driver is only setting the attributes
required by the InfiniBand spec to create a multicast group, so in
particular the MTU and HopLimit are not being set. Add these
attributes when creating MCGs, and also set the Rate attribute, since
IPoIB pays attention to that attribute as well.

If a QP has separate send and receive CQs, then the send CQ will never
have receive completions from that QP in it. So when cleaning the
send CQ, there's no need to pass in an SRQ pointer, even if the QP is
attached to an SRQ.

Trigger device remove and then add when a catastrophic error is
detected in hardware. This, in turn, will cause a device reset, which
we hope will recover from the catastrophic condition.
Since this might interefere with debugging the root cause, add a
module option to suppress this behaviour.

Fast Memory Registration (fmr) is used to register for rdma an sg whose
elements are not linearly sequential after dma mapping.
The IB verbs layer provides an "all dma memory MR (memory region)" which
can be used for RDMA-ing a dma linearly sequential buffer.
Change the code to use the dma mr instead of doing fmr when dma mapping
produces a single dma entry sg.

As iser is able to use at most one rdma operation for the
execution of a scsi command, and registration of the sg
associated with scsi command has its restrictions, the code
checks if an sg is "aligned for rdma".
Alignment for rdma is measured in "fmr page" units whose
possible resolutions are different between HCAs and can be
smaller, equal or bigger to the system page size.
When the system page size is bigger than 4KB (eg the default
with ia64 kernels) there a bigger chance that an sg would be
aligned for rdma if the fmr page size is 4KB.
Change the code to create FMR whose pages are of size 4KB
and to take that into account when processing the sg.

Currently, the data length of a command coming down from scsi-ml
is limited only by the size of its sg list (sg_tablesize). The
max data length may be different for different page size values.
By setting max_sectors, we limit the data length to
max_sectors*512 bytes.

dma mapping may include a "compaction" of the sg associated with scsi command.
Hence, the size of the maximal prefix of the SG which is aligned for rdma must be
compared against the length of the dma mapped sg (mem->dma_nents) and not against
the size of it before it was mapped (mem->size).

Add an iWARP Connection Manager (CM), which abstracts connection
management for iWARP devices (RNICs). It is a logical instance of the
xx_cm where xx is the transport type (ib or iw). The symbols exported
are used by the transport independent rdma_cm module, and are
available also for transport dependent ULPs.

The implementation assumes that any RMPP request that requires a
response uses DS RMPP. Based on the RMPP start-up scenarios defined
by the spec, this should be a valid assumption. That is, there is no
start-up scenario defined where an RMPP request is followed by a
non-RMPP response. By having this assumption we avoid any API
changes.
In order for a node that supports DS RMPP to communicate with one that
does not, RMPP responses assume a new window size of 1 if a DS ACK has
not been received. (By DS ACK, I'm referring to the turn-around ACK
after the final ACK of the request.) This is a slight spec deviation,
but is necessary to allow communication with nodes that do not
generate the DS ACK. It also handles the case when a response is sent
after the request state has been discarded.

Ordering of writethrough store buffers needs to be forced, and we need
to use ifdef to get writethrough behavior to InfiniPath buffers, because
there is no generic way to specify that at this time (similar to code
in char/drm/drm_vm.c and block/z2ram.c).

Improve performance of userspace post receive, post SRQ receive, and
poll CQ operations for ipath by allowing userspace to directly mmap()
receive queues and completion queues. This eliminates the copying
between userspace and the kernel in the data path.

Add a ib_uverbs_resize_cq_resp.driver_data field so that low-level
drivers can return data from a resize CQ operation to userspace. Have

Lockdep warns when userspace creates a QP that uses different CQs for
send completions and receive completions, because both CQs are locked
and their mutexes belong to the same lock class. However, we know
that the mutexes are distinct and the nesting is safe (there is no
possibility of AB-BA deadlock because the mutexes are locked with
down_read()), so annotate the situation with SINGLE_DEPTH_NESTING to
get rid of the lockdep warning.

The SM LID used to send traps to is incorrectly set to port LID. This
is a regression from 2.6.17 -- after a PortInfo MAD is received, no
traps are sent to the SM LID. The traps go to the loopback interface
instead, and are dropped there. The SM LID should be taken from the
sm_lid of the PortInfo response.

3 seems like a low number of IB Communication Manager retries to set;
we see connections failing under stress, and in any case 3 just looks
like an arbitrary number. 15 is the max value allowed by the
InfiniBand spec.

When a send-only multicast group join fails, mcast->query must be set
to NULL. Otherwise, IPoIB will never retry the join and the multicast
group will never be reachable.

If there is a problem in the connection, the SCSI mid-layer will
eventually call srp_reset_host(), which will call srp_reconnect(), so
we do not need to schedule a call to srp_reconnect_work() from
srp_completion().
Removing this prevents srp_reset_host() from failing if a reconnect
scheduled from srp_completion() is already in progress, which in turn
was causing crashes as both SCSI midlayer and srp_reconnect() were
cancelling commands.

iSCSI RFC states that the first burst length must be smaller than the
max burst length. We currently assume targets will be good, but that may
not be the case, so this patch adds a check.
This patch also moves the unsol data out offset to the lib so the LLDs
do not have to track it.

It is supposed to be OK to call mthca_create_ah() and mthca_destroy_ah()
from any context. However, for mem-full HCAs, these functions use the
mthca_alloc() and mthca_free() bitmap helpers, and those helpers use
non-IRQ-safe spin_lock() internally. Lockdep correctly warns that
this could lead to a deadlock. Fix this by changing mthca_alloc() and
mthca_free() to use spin_lock_irqsave().

Leave all SRQ methods out of the device's uverbs_cmd_mask if the
device doesn't have SRQ support (because of ancient firmware) so that
we don't allow userspace to call the driver's create_srq method. This
fixes a userspace-triggerable oops caused by ib_uverbs_create_srq()
following the device's ->create_srq function pointer, which will be
NULL if the device doesn't support SRQs.

After commit 12bbb2b7be, when SM LID
change or LID change MAD also has a client reregistration bit set,
only CLIENT_REREGISTER event is generated.
As a result, the sa_query module and the cache module don't update the
port information, and ULPs (e.g. IPoIB) stop working. This is the
regression we observe as compared to 2.6.17.
Rather than generate multiple events (which would have negative
performance impact), let us simply let cache and SA query respond to
reregister event in the same way as to LID and SM change events.

When destroying a QP, mthca locks both the QP's send CQ and receive
CQ. However, the following scenario is perfectly valid:
QP_a: send_cq == CQ_x, recv_cq == CQ_y
QP_b: send_cq == CQ_y, recv_cq == CQ_x
The old mthca code simply locked send_cq and then recv_cq, which in
this case could lead to an AB-BA deadlock if QP_a and QP_b were
destroyed simultaneously.
We can fix this by changing the locking code to lock the CQ with the
lower CQ number first, which will create a consistent lock ordering.
Also, the second CQ is locked with spin_lock_nested() to tell lockdep
that we know what we're doing with the lock nesting.
This bug was found by lockdep.

Wait until all users have closed their device context before allowing
device unregistration to complete. This prevents a crash caused by
referring to stale data structures.
A better solution would be to have a way to revoke contexts rather
than waiting for userspace to close the context, but that's a much
bigger change that will have to wait. For now let's at least avoid
the crash.

mthca_array_clear() does not clear the slot if the used count is

When we enter recovery and flush the running commands
we cannot freee the connection before flushing the commands.
Some commands may have a reference to the connection
that needs to be released before. iscsi_stop was forcing
the term and suspend too early and was causing a oops
in iser, so this patch removes those callbacks all together
and allows the LLD to handle that detail.

The neighbour ha field may get updated without destroying the
neighbour. In this case, the ha field gets out of sync with the
address handle stored in ipoib_neigh->ah, with the result that
the ah field would point to an incorrect path, resulting in all
packets being lost.

Validate MADs sent by userspace clients for spec compliance with
C13-18.1.1 (prevent duplicate requests and responses sent on the
same port). Without this, RMPP transactions get aborted because
of duplicate packets.

ipath_skip_sge() doesn't exactly duplicate the side effects of
ipath_copy_sge() if num_sge > 1 since it doesn't decrement ss->num_sge.
This could result in the sg_list being accessed out of bounds.
Since ipath_skip_sge() is almost always called with num_sge == 1,
the original "optimization" is almost never used.

I am still working on a proposal to remove the phys_to_virt() calls
in the ib_ipath driver. In the mean time, this patch allows SRP
to work by fixing the R_Key check and conversion from IB address
to kernel virtual address. It also returns the correct page size
for FMRs.

ib_fmr_pool_map_phys gets the virtual address by pointer but never writes
there, and users (e.g. srp) seem to assume this and ignore the value
returned. This patch cleans up the API to get the VA by value, and updates
all users.

If a user of the IB CM returns -ENOMEM from their connection callback, simply
drop the incoming REQ - do not attempt to send a reject. This should allow

mthca: initialize send and receive queue locks separately
lockdep identifies a lock by the call site of its initialization. By
initializing the send and receive queue locks in mthca_wq_init() we confuse
lockdep. It warns that that the ordered acquiry of both locks in
mthca_modify_qp() is recursive acquiry of one lock:

We can't tell for sure if any packets are in the infinipath receive buffer
when we shut down a chip port. Normally this is taken care of by orderly
shutdown, but when processes are terminated, or sending process has a bug, we
can continue to receive packets. So rather than writing zero to the address
registers for the closing port, we point it at a dummy memory.

We do a few more explicit checks for specific models, and now also support the
old PathScale serial number style, or new QLogic style.
This is backwards compatible with previous versions of software and hardware.
That is, older software will see a plausible serial number and correct GUID
when used with a new board, while newer software will correctly handle an
older board.

This patch separates QP state used for sending and receiving RC packets so the
processing in the receive interrupt handler can be done mostly without locks
being held. ACK packets are now sent without requiring synchronization with
the send tasklet.

Do an extra check to see if in-memory tail changed while processing packets,
and if so, going back through the loop again (but only once per call to
ipath_kreceive()). In practice, this seems to be enough to guarantee that if
we crossed the clearing of an interrupt at start of ipath_intr with a
scheduled tail register update, that we'll process the "extra" packet that
lost the interrupt because we cleared it just as it was about to arrive.

The problem was that I was updating the head register multiple times in the
rcvhdrq processing loop, and setting the counter on each update. Since that
meant that the tail register was ahead of head for all but the last update, we
would get extra interrupts. The fix was to not write the counter value except
on the last update.
I also changed to update rcvhdrhead and rcvegrindexhead at most every 16
packets, if there were lots of packets in the queue (and of course, on the
last packet, regardless).
I also made some small cleanups while debugging this.
With these changes, xeon/monty typically sees two openib packets per interrupt
on sdp and ipoib, opteron/monty is about 1.25 pkts/intr.
I'm seeing about 3800 Mbit/s monty/xeon, and 5000-5100 opteron/monty with
netperf sdp. Netpipe doesn't show as good as that, peaking at about 4400 on
opteron/monty sdp. Plain ipoib xeon is about 2100+ netperf, opteron 2900+, at
128KB

Also count the number of interrupts where that works (fastrcvint). On any
interrupt where the port0 head and tail registers are not equal, just call the
ipath_kreceive code without reading the interrupt status, thus saving the
approximately 0.25usec processor stall waiting for the read to return. If any
other interrupt bits are set, or head==tail, take the normal path, but that
has been reordered to handle read ahead of pioavail. Also no longer call
ipath_kreceive() from ipath_qcheck(), because that just seems to make things
worse, and isn't really buying us anything, these days.
Also no longer loop in ipath_kreceive(); better to not hold things off too
long (I saw many cases where we would loop 4-8 times, and handle thousands (up
to 3500) in a single call).

Made in-memory rcvhdrq tail update be in dma_alloc'ed memory, not random user
or special kernel (needed for ppc, also "just the right thing to do").
Some cleanups to make unexpected link transitions less likely to produce
complaints about packet errors, and also to not leave SMA packets stuck and
unable to go out.
A few other random debug and comment cleanups.
Always init rcvhdrq head/tail registers to 0, to avoid race conditions (should
have been that way some time ago).

Extend the get_sb() filesystem operation to take an extra argument that
permits the VFS to pass in the target vfsmount that defines the mountpoint.
The filesystem is then required to manually set the superblock and root dentry
pointers. For most filesystems, this should be done with simple_set_mnt()
which will set the superblock pointer and then set the root dentry to the
superblock's s_root (as per the old default behaviour).
The get_sb() op now returns an integer as there's now no need to return the
superblock pointer.
This patch permits a superblock to be implicitly shared amongst several mount
points, such as can be done with NFS to avoid potential inode aliasing. In
such a case, simple_set_mnt() would not be called, and instead the mnt_root
and mnt_sb would be set directly.
The patch also makes the following changes:
(*) the get_sb_*() convenience functions in the core kernel now take a vfsmount
pointer argument and return an integer, so most filesystems have to change
very little.
(*) If one of the convenience function is not used, then get_sb() should
normally call simple_set_mnt() to instantiate the vfsmount. This will
always return 0, and so can be tail-called from get_sb().
(*) generic_shutdown_super() now calls shrink_dcache_sb() to clean up the
dcache upon superblock destruction rather than shrink_dcache_anon().
This is required because the superblock may now have multiple trees that
aren't actually bound to s_root, but that still need to be cleaned up. The
currently called functions assume that the whole tree is rooted at s_root,
and that anonymous dentries are not the roots of trees which results in
dentries being left unculled.
However, with the way NFS superblock sharing are currently set to be
implemented, these assumptions are violated: the root of the filesystem is
simply a dummy dentry and inode (the real inode for '/' may well be
inaccessible), and all the vfsmounts are rooted on anonymous[*] dentries
with child trees.
[*] Anonymous until discovered from another tree.
(*) The documentation has been adjusted, including the additional bit of
changing ext2_* into foo_* in the documentation.

This file contains the processing carried over an SG list associated with
a SCSI command such that it can be registered with the IB verbs. The
registration produces a network virtual address (VA) and a remote access
key (RKEY or STAG in iSER spec notation) which are used by the target for
its RDMA operation.
